About this object

This Chinese potter teacup was found in the Lake Roxburgh area during a survey and was at the Cromwell museum from 2003 until being deaccessioned in August 2016. Cromwell museum donated the item to the Teviot District Museum in November 2019 knowing that we have a keen interest in our Chinese connection to gold mining in the area.
