About this object

Brass mug with copper handle apparently made from a WW1 shell case. Decorated with various dot drawings and words 'Jericho' 'May 4/5/18' 'T Bright'. Stamped on base in a circular fashion '10 Polte', 'Juli 1917', Magdeburg Sp406', (this later is a wartime control/inspection mark) with ' RMF 3 1916' reading in a different direction.
