About this objectClass 500 Addressograph addressing machine manufactured by Multigraph Ltd London. The cast iron machine has a small foot stand in each corner. The ink print ribbon goes across the top of the machine winding from one reel to another by means of two knobs at the front (one of the knobs has a cap missing). An arm which is hinged at the back has a with rubber plate on the bottom which is pushed down onto the ink tape. A ridged handle on top of the arm has AM engraved on it. A steel T shaped rod attached at the back lifts slightly to hold the paper in place.
