About this object

Money Bag, leather, with 'Riley and Lynch Pat'd 1870' stamped on metal clasp on handle. The numbers '9 1 20 ' are stamped in to the leather base of the bag. Knob at top pushes to one side to release lock, key hole also, hinged either side. Black leather, one handle at top rounded,striped lining, inside pocket torn. Side pocket on outside attached by catches on two straps, diamond shaped piece metal on side. Metal on tips of straps. Straps extendable.
