About this object1908 British half penny coin found at Halfway House Hotel site G15 by Dr N Ritchie, Ministry of Works archaeologist. The obverse features the bare head of King Edward VII facing right. The reverse shows Britannia seated right wearing a helmet, holding a trident, hand resting on a shield, with the HALF PENNY and date below.
