Bullion Book for Austral New Zealand Mining Limited from 1940 to 1951 as part of a collection of papers and ledgers from J C Parcell, Solicitors Cromwell. The book is bound in leather, a green cover with light brown spine and corners. In the centre the cover has a red label with gold writing "Austral New Zealand Mining Limited Bullion Book". It has 194 pages with the last entry on page 28. The company ceased operation in 1951.
The column headings include Mint Weight before melting, mint weight after melting, gold assay, silver assay, Gold Duties - Export Tax and Emergency Tax, Bank and Agency charges.
