About this objectHuon Love used this seed tester on the Love family farm in Knapdale. It was inserted into grain sacks to measure the size of grain, as well as its cleanliness and dryness without needing to open the sack. The pointed end of the tool is inserted with the open side uppermost. When the tool is removed seeds are automatically collected in the opening on the shaft ready for inspection.
