Hokonui Pioneer Village & Museum
A village type museum with the main display building housing predominantly vintage farm machinery from the mid 19th century. Additional displays are housed in a fully furnished pioneer cottage (furnished in 1900 period), a school room, a bank building with commercial items and a pioneer church built in 1894. All are situated on the outskirts of Gore in pleasant park surroundings.

Everyday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors and groups are most welcome by appointment. Closed on Christmas and Boxing days.
