A black and white photograph showing unidentified newly-weds and associated bridal party having their portrait taken. As it is one of a group (see below), it is likely that this couple are related to the Wassell's, Johnston's, or Mawhinney's.

This photograph is one of a group of six donated to the Society by former member June Mawhinney, a descendant of the Wassell's. We would be very interested in further information regarding the people in the photograph, and their families.

On front of mounting in bottom left-hand corner is photographer's embossed mark:
'(initials unable to read) CROWN STUDIO' inside a scroll, with a crown sitting above, and in the bottom centre of mounting is an embossed crest.
