About this object
Undated black and white photograph of the exterior of the Mataura Freezing Works taken parallel to State Highway One. The then owner of the Works was the Southland Frozen Meat Company Limited whose signage appears on the side of the building.
After a series of takeovers the Mataura Freezing Works came under the ownership of Alliance Group Limited in 1989.
