About this object
This is one of a series of 40 black and white photographs taken by Keith Henderson which show the impact of the October 1978 flood of the Mataura River on the town of Mataura. Keith was Mayor of Mataura from 1970 to 1983 and was a keen amateur photographer.
The photograph shows Ron and Alberta Amos on the porch of their house on the corner of Hope and Kana Streets.
