Camisole
About this objectCamisole; a white cotton camisole crocheted top. The crochet is a series of vertical flowers with stems and leaves. This camisole was sewn by Mrs Alma Maud Wright of Mataura (1903-1998) for her glory box and was donated to us by her daughter, Mrs Ina Russell. Mrs Russell recalled how her mother made crochet and tatting edging as a substitute for more expensive lace.
