About this objectA gold medallion presented to Pvt. R. Balloch by residents of Mataura on his return from WW1 in 1919. It is a 9 carat gold 8 pointed star shape medallion with engraving on front and back and a fob watch chain and key attached to it. His full name was Robert Ross Balloch.
