About this object

Two parts of a ram press case used in the production of a plaster mould. Each consists of a plaster body held within a cylindrical metal frame. The metal frames each have two circular fittings which would hold a pin to join the two parts. Both have raised shape of a four pointed tap handle with raised border around its outside. Part 2 has a circular cavity in the centre. Plaster body yellowed. Each has a moulded arrow pointing towards its outer edge.
