Binoculars and case
About this objectThese binoculars are aluminium with bakelite eye-pieces and were originally covered in green baize or felt. The leather case is lined inside and out with a green textile. The label inside the lid is in German. The binoculars were acquired by Thomas Maunder during WW1 and were used during the war and on his return to New Zealand.
