Otautau Museum

Our photographic collection documents the history of Otautau & Districts. Featured on eHive here, is a small selection of the items we have available at our Museum. These items are currently on display in an exhibition called "First 50", which is open to visit until late 2019.

We also have a growing collection of family history resources and local area archives. For research inquiries or to view our collections, please contact Collections Manager/Archivist on: 0272114675 or email: collections.otautaumuseum@gmail.com

Our museum resides in Otautau's Old Courthouse, a historic building in Main Street and the hub of our community focused exhibitions, which change periodically. "100 years of WW1" is also featured currently, and will remain on display until the 100th Year Anniversary of the signing of the Versailles Treaty, on 28 June 2019.
