Otautau Museum

Our photographic collection documents the history of Otautau & Districts. Featured on eHive here, is a small selection of the items we have available at our Museum. We will be closing up our Museum Displays over the winter from 1/7/19 to September 2019 to work on new exhibits and to overhaul our storeroom, so we will not be open our usual Sunday afternoons during this time.

Our museum resides in Otautau's Old Courthouse, a historic building in Main Street and the hub of our community focused exhibitions, which change periodically.

Visitor Information

Displays closed for Winter until Sept. 2019. Usually Open Sundays, 2pm-4pm. Archivist/Researcher available most Wednesdays and by special request. Please just get in touch, on 027-211-4675.

Displays of our collections FREE, visiting and special Exhibitions may require a small fee. Donations gratefully accepted.
