Whisky cap

About this object

Aluminum cap, cork missing, 27 mm in diameter. Has a stamped relief of a bearded man from the shoulders up wearing a cap and holding a sword. The words “Callum’s Whisky” are printed around the top edge of the cap, behind the man. On the right side (opposite the man) is a series of dots arranged in a pattern but significance is unknown at this stage. Found in Museum grounds at punga fence site when fence was being installed, 28/02/07. Not previously accessioned.
