Silver plated originally. Now worn down to the copper. Brought to NZ by the Timperley family who settled in the Kawakawa, Ruapekapeka District. The first Mrs Timperley did a fair amount of home nursing among the Maoris. This ladle was used to dish out nourishing soup. Her name was Elizabeth.Credit Line
