Photograph, Currie & MacIntosh Sawmill

About this object

This photograph is of Currie and MacIntosh Mill workmen outside their huts. The man in the front on the right is holding an alcohol bottle. Sawmiller's often carried tea for their smoko in such bottles.

Though likely staged, this photograph depicts the millers in their work clothes outside their living quarters and may have been taken during a break from their work in the timber yard.
