About this object

A short cotton bib apron celebrating the 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria's ascension to the throne in 1837. It features small portraits of the Queen amongst red and green floral detailing, lace trim, a small gathered pocket and narrow bib. It is missing its neck ties and the waist ties appear to have been shortened.
