The bat is signed by 9 of the 11 players that played for the New Zealand Governor-general XI in 1961 against the Marylebone Cricket Club. those signatures are as follows: B Sutcliffe, GO Rabone, RR Lindwall, FCM Alexander, MP Donnelly, JC Alabaster, JA Hayes, WM Wallace, CW Smith.

The bat also has signatures from several players of the 1990's; A Parore, Heath Davis, S Fleming, C Cairns, D Patel, B Young.
