About this object

This scorebook was used by Wellington's Easts Cricket Club from 1912 to 1916. Predominantly featuring games played by the club's B side, it is notable for the performances of Clarrie Grimmett immediately prior to his leaving New Zealand for Australia.

It also features some of the last cricket games played by James Kinvig, Rupert Hickmott, Gilbert Howe, and Hami Grace before they left for WWI. These players are all featured in the Cricket Museum's <i><b>On A Foreign Field</i></b> exhibition. Click this link for more details.
