About this object

Model two-horse wagon, made by James Brown, circa 1935. This model was copied from a full-sized wagon belonging to Mr Petrie of Berwick, and was similar to those used in Otago in the 1860s. Every part of the model wagon, including the screws, were hand-made. It includes a canvas wagon cover.
