Wooden Maori Walking Stick

About this object

Light brown in colour. It has a rounded wooden top. The rest of the top part consist of a carved Maori Warrior, which has a mother of pearl eyes and a heavily tattooed face and body. In his right hand, he holds a paua shell patu, around his lower back and legs he is wearing some sort of clothing, with the front of his legs exposed. There is further carving further down the walking stick. The stick ends with a brass ferrule.
