Motueka District Museum
Motueka District museum is right in the centre of town - the old High School building (1913) and has been registered with NZ Historic Places Trust since 2002.
The museum shows artefacts from Motueka's past. As well as static displays the museum has changing exhibitions which reflect on local history. We also house a public research room where visitors can learn more of the history of the area or that of their ancestors. Members of the Motueka Historical Association are available on Tuesdays to assist in research. The research room is open museum hours.
