Dining Chair

About this object

This dining chair is made of Kauri wood. It has a long straight back with two vertical panels on either side of a central panel carved into an arrow shape. There is a wood bar connecting the front legs to the back legs and another central bar connects to the legs. A slightly curved shape wood back support is along the top with two upright ends and square decorative knobs. It has a padded seat made of velour fabric with a geometric design pattern. There are flowers and shield designs in a sequencial order, The seat is tacked on with round headed upholstery tacks. It has squared legs with front ones slightly tapered down to a flared foot.
