About this object

This is an adult's purple and white polyester gingham half apron with variegated crochet motifs applied along the hemline. The motifs and the patch pocket are further embellished with a loose length of robbon, which may originally have been tied into a bow. The side edges have been completed in picot edge crochet. The motifs represent a 'Crinoline Lady' with hat and flared skirt.
