About this object

This is watercolour portrait of an unidentified masonic lodge member, possibly a leader in the New Zealand lodge, and therefore this may have hung in the Wyndham Mokoreta Lodge rooms on Redan Street.

If you know anything about this gentleman please let us know.

After the formation of the Grand Lodge in New Zealand in 1890, an application was made for a charter to operate a branch of the Masonic Lodge in Wyndham. This was charted under the title of Lodge Mokoreta, No 63.
