Name/Title

Shear Setter, Blade

About this object

This is a blade shear setter made by E Hayes & Sons. Each pair of shears required quite a set up when purchased and a blade setter was used to set the angle of the blades. If the angle of the blades was not set, they would not cut cleanly all the way along thus effect the efficiency of the shear.
