Dress, Embossed Satin with Bolero; Piccadilly Model; 1954; WY.2013.2.1

Name/Title

Dress, Embossed Satin with Bolero

About this object

This well made ensemble was worn by Mrs G. F. McRae on the occasion of her Silver Wedding celebration. We believe it was made by her sister-in-law Mrs Marion King.

A report of the function, held in the Mokoreta Hall, appeared in the Wyndham Farmer on August 17, 1954. The Hocken Library holds copies of the paper and we hope to check this article out in the future.
