This leather bound journal records Fleming & Co. Ltd's. national advertising payments from 1941 to 1971.
From the 1920s this Gore based company used the potential of advertising to market its cereal products on the 'national stage'. The accounts in this journal cover a wide spectrum of advertising spend in: newspapers, radio, posters, journals as well as on promotional products such as cereal bowls and spoons.
