Hi Norman. Im from Glasgow now in Ballarat Victoria. I worked for Linotype in london as sevice Engineer. I have come across a working model in Chiltern Vic. they have it on display open to the public on weekends. There is also a site on the net showing a collection of Linos being restored in Melbourne heaps of them I was quite surprised thinking they would all be scrapped but no there are the enthusiasts around keeping them going. Cheers
Good to see one of these again. I learned to use them years ago in two independent printers in Glasgow, Scotland producing local newspapers.
Funnily, the last one I saw was in the window of a newspaper printers in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia!
