About this object

A cream cooler that was used to cool milk or cream from the separator to a cream can. It has eight tubes that carry the milk which is cooled by water. Inscribed with the brand 'MacEwen Ltd'. Made of copper. It has a small trough to hold the water.

Used by the Bull Family who farmed off Black Swamp Road, Mangawhai.
