About this objectA World War one utility mess knife with a steel blade and aluminium handle, used by United States Military personnel. On the middle of the handle is inscribed, ' U.S.' and on the reverse is 'I.S.C.' (International Silver Company, Meriden Connecticut, USA) Under ISC is the date 1918.
