Richard Logan Balderston (known as Logan) b 1889 d 1968, married Frances Ann Balderston nee Leslie (known as Tottie) b 1887 d 1962. They had 8 children. His professions included farming,droving,forestry and road construction. He was involved in local Dairy Companies, politics (member of the National Party) and Farmers Union. They lived at Kaiwaka.
