An original pink coloured blotting paper with a post office stamp on it.
"Tara N.Z. 25 MY 00" (Tara New Zealand, 25th May 1900)
There is also an original letter to Mrs. Hill from The Postal History Society of New Zealand Inc. Signed be R.M.Startup.
Date: 26th February 1978.
Tara Post Office was opened at Mr. John Wharfe's home, 'Tara Dene' The Tara Mangawai , on 15th September 1891. It closed on 31st March 1912.
