This small booklet was printed to celebrate the first 50 years of St Paul's Church at Kaiwaka. 1835 to 1985.

On Friday, 29th March 1935 the Primate of New Zealand and Bishop of Auckland, His Grace and the Right Reverend A.W. Averill, dedicated the Anglican church of St Paul, Kaiwaka, assited by five clergy.

The booklet contains information regarding St Michael's and All Angels Church at Hakaru with a detailed summary of how the church was built. There is also mention of the Misses Sarah and Elizabeth Tutin's contribution to the area.
The history of services in Kaiwaka is described with special mention towards several local families including the Reverend Archie Bull and his wife Kathleen Bull.
There is a detailed description of contributions, how the building was constructed, and donations that included the land, towards the construction of St Paul's Anglican Church in Kaiwaka.
