Browne Family articles, and transcripts of interviews were collected by Esma Torckler.
Esma was a descendent of Edward Browne b 1842 d 1892 and Eliza Browne nee Fransham b.1842 d.1911,They arrived in New Zealand 1863, with a pioneer group called the 'Albertlanders' who settled on the Kaipara Harbour.

These items are part of a larger collection of items that include photos of the Yates, Book, Browne, and Brookes families, as well as family trees and information of each family.
