Badge; a brass and enamel badge for the Otago and Southland Women's Patriotic Society. The badge features a central blue enamel shield with the intertwined letters: "OSW", with fern leaves on either side, topped with the British crown.
Engraved on the reverse: "Presented by Lady Liverpool for the Returned Soldiers Association to Laura M Hayward, Vice President, August 1914 to June 1919".
