Tray; a tray hand-made in 1929 by Alan Ross, for his Mother's birthday. Alan made the tray at school in Purakauiti.
The tray consists of a rectangular wooden base decorated in punch marks with the words: "BIRTHDAY 1929 GREETINGS". This is edged with strips of supple-jack, wired together at the corners.
