New Zealand Land Forces Certificate of Promotion to Rank of 2nd Lieutenant.

A certificate recording the appointment of Alexander Forsyth to the Office of 2nd Lieutenant in the Land Forces of the Dominion of New Zealand from the 3rd day of February, 1919. Dated 31st October, 1919, signed by J Allen.

The certificate is on sized fabric with an embossed seal. There is also a copy certificate on paper dated 5th May 1919, and stamped 'temporary'.
