Dress, women's
About this objectDress, woman's; pale blue silk princess-line evening gown, white silk panel in front with layers of lace in various widths and patterns. Lace around neck and sleeves, ruching on sleeves. Pleats at back fall from two small bows below waist. Back opening is fastened with domes. The lace on the bodice and the added uneven patches of fabric around the neckline indicate that an unsophisticated hand has made alterations to the neckline and it is possible that the front of the dress has been significantly re-made.
