Clarrie Cresswell, a prominent Raglan musician from the 30's 40's and 50's, who wrote the song, ‘Raglan by the Sea’ and was a mentor for many local musicians. Clarrie played in a number of bands over the years including Wednesday night sessions at the Harbour View Hotel.
