Please update this photograph with the correct spelling to Waireinga
Of course, thanks again for your information. It is appreciated and we will update our records accordingly.
The correct spelling of the waterfall is clearly identified on the photograph. It was re-named in the 1930s' in the interest of tourism. In 2007 Mōtakotako Marae requested the NZ Geographical Board reinstate the original name 'Waireinga' to this special place. It now bears the dual name Waireinga/ Bridal Veil Falls
