About this objectCommemorative cushion cover from WW1. Square, green silk with green braid at hem. Reads around the edges, ' Souvenir of Egypt Cairo 1915'. In centre is a laurel wreath with a boars head inside, banner above reads, 'XI KIA TUPATO NAMR'; translated, 11th Be Prepared (Maori Warning) North Auckland Mounted Rifles, the Boar is their symbol. Below this is '7th Reinforcement'.
