About this object

White huckaback envelope for brush and comb. Trimmed around outside and envelope flap with a frill of torchon (linen or flax fibre- bobbin lace) lace. Case decorated by cotton chain stitched braid with scroll designs sewn on with cotton backstitch. Curved flap folds over case, printed inside the case is 'Lupton' in black ink. Handmade.
