About this objectWhite cotton baby gown 1911. Bought garment as it has label on inside neck, 'No. SIZE 6m'. Round neck trimmed with fine lace and hemstitching. Back yoke pin tucked vertically with 3 sets of four on either side of the placket at centre, placket fastened with two pearl buttons. Front yoke a narrow V shape of embroidered cotton, and skirt gathered back and front with very narrow lace insertion. Long sleeves, plain, gathered at top and wrist with lace and hemstitching to match the neckline. Plain skirt, with horizontal tucks three rows of four, and an insertion of broderie anglaise with a hemstitched border and a gathered flounce to match.
