About this object

Cream silk embroidered fichu with tasselled edging. Curved triangle shape to drape over shoulders to meet at the front, often held there with a brooch or a buckle. Cream silk satin embroidery in a floral pattern in centre back to each end. The tassel fringe goes right around the border of the garment. Handmade.
