Photograph collection of NZ416695 Fl/Off. William Granville 'Buddy" Smith who was missing on operation 05 August 1943 from Tunisia in a Wellington bomber where he was a navigator. They were covering the Allied landings of Italy. He was serving with the RNZAF 150 Squadron RAF, he was 36. He was the elder son of William and Susannah Smith. 1. Portrait. 2.
