About this object

Leather belt, Army issue, thick brown leather one end is threaded through a brass buckle and doubles back through two leather loops. There is a brass loop with an eye, where leather doubles around. Through the eye is hooked a brass s-shaped snake which attaches to the other end of the belt through a hole in the leather. Sewn onto the other end of the belt is a strip of leather with a large hole in it. There are 12 holes punched at intervals along the belt.
